The colors of the 70s are on their way back. Consumers are picking up the items [furniture, paint, clothes, etc] that have colors that mimic our economy’s need to use the basics. This means there is a plethora of earth and vegetative tones popping up everywhere. Not only are the colors of fruits and vegetables coming to light thus far in 2011, but so are prints and textured fabrics- think cow prints and burlap sacks. White is out and cream or ivory is in. And green is still a favored color, so if you are trying to “go green,” keep on it!
