We are New Orleans natives who met in Baton Rouge while attending LSU. We also happen to be the personalities behind SHULTZILLA, a local business that sells NOLA-inspired tees, bags, and accessories, and JAM Creative. Wanting anything but a traditional wedding, we threw a DIY shindig that gave Will and Kate’s festivities a run for their money (and we have the tan lines from building the deck on the lake to prove it!)
About the project
Shades and tints of aqua and brown were used throughout the site along with hand-drawn custom icons to carry out the whimsical concept. Instead of sending out RSVP cards with postage, we set up a password-protected RSVP form, where invitees could RSVP online. The site also features a song request form. The site was built in WordPress so that content could easily be updated with no prior knowledge of HTML

The hand-drawn seal as opposed to the traditional word mark logo showsour eclectic side. The color scheme was selected to compliment the colors of the wedding. The two names and established date resemble names carved into a tree.
